Canada have withdrawn from the International Challenge, taking place alongside the World Cup in 2011 in the UK. The International Challenge was meant to feature the polocrosse nations not within the top 8 in the world. Canada finished 8th at the last two World Cups and conceded their place to Zambia for 2011. Now they have also withdrawn from the International Challenge, where Norway, Germany, France, Holland and the UAE will all play. Ireland will now send a second team to make the number of teams in the International Challenge up to 6 again. No official statement from Canada has been received at this time as to why they have withdrawn
