The Welsh Dragon Tournament was held in Usk, South Wales,. The weather was beautiful until 2 o’clock on Sunday when the heavens opened and the rain poured down on the A grade final. The Crusaders and the Welsh Dragons seemed to enjoy the rain as they defeated the Highlanders to take the A grade. Alex Bull for the Crusaders had a particularly strong weekend.

The B grade was taken by a very strong Kent side, for whom Kim Lampard, Sammmy Rowden and Ben Jefferies all looked in great form. Solent tried their hardest but couldn’t quite match them in the final. The C/D grade went to Centaur, who saw the return of Dominic Northmore for the first time in a couple of years, and Arden finishing second, with Hannah Oliver-Byrne also impressing on her playing return. In the Juniors Pennine continued their good run of form finishing first with Arden in second.
