The UK polocrosse season suffered yet another cancellation today as Arden announced that they could not run their tournament this weekend as a torrential downpour left them with two inches of standing water on their already sodden pitches and no realistic chance of them drying out in time for Saturday.

The loss of Arden, one of the highest profile tournaments in the UK season, will be keenly felt and has meant that the UK season is now nearly at its halfway point and one one tournament out of the planned five has managed to run. However, there were two bright points this week as Rugby announced that they would run a tournament on the 14th and 15th of July to help try and save the season, while Highlanders announced that it would reschedule for the 8th and 9th of September. Kent are also believed to be planning to reschedule.
