The UKPA have had to call an Extraordinary General Meeting to decide upon whether the A grade at the National Championships will be mixed (three men and three ladies playing in opposite sections). The UKPA announced just a week before the season started that it would be, causing certain clubs to get rather annoyed as their A grade teams were already formed and were not mixed. Since then there have been various discussions and suggestions around what could be done to help these clubs but nothing has been finalised.

Now Rugby, the club most affected by the change, have decided to demand an EGM to resolve the matter once and for all. The EGM will be held at Midland tournament on the 3rd of August at 7pm in the clubhouse. All UKPA members over the age of 16 are allowed to vote.
