The UKPA have announced the exact dates and times that the test matches between the UK and Ireland will be shown on Sky Sports. The four programmes (one for each test match) will be shown a total of 15 times between the 5th and the 27th of October, with each programme lasting one hour. The test matches ended with honours fairly even between the two countries with the UK claiming the ladies test match series 2-0 and the Irish men winning their test series by the same margin. After the test matches have been aired on Sky they will also been shown on the Country Channel online TV station.

Iain Heaton, CEO of the UKPA, said: “It is a great pleasure to have worked with the Country Channel and Sky Sports to get the UK versus Ireland test matches broadcast. It just shows how exciting the game of polocrosse is, and how popular it is becoming when broadcasters are willing to dedicate hours of programming time to it. Discussions are currently underway with Sky and the Country Channel to televise the World Cup so that this major event is available to audiences worldwide.”
