The UK Pony Club Polocrosse Championships will take place next weekend, the 15th and 16th of August, at Draycott House in Nottinghamshire and the organisers are reporting a big jump in entries. The entry figure stands at just under 100 players, an increase of 30% on last year and the second year in a row that entry figures have increased.

The Pony Club have offered subsidised polocrosse starter kits in the last two years, with the help of the Worshipful Company of Loriners, and many of the new entries are from the Pony Club branches and centres who purchased these kits. Entries are up across all classes and age groups and shows that the Pony Club and UKPA joint work to increase participation in the sport is beginning to bear fruit.

Polocrosse Extreme will be at the Pony Club Championships and will bring you the results straight afterwards (well, once we get back to the office anyway!)
