The Under 21’s lost their first two tests against the Queensland’s Under 21’s, who (though I’m no expert) probably aren’t a lot worse than a full strength Australian Under 21 side so really there is no shame in defeat. A more complete breakdown of the results is available here.

Dan Duhig did play the entire of the first test against the Aussies, apparently on four different horses (whether they were trying to find one that could lend him a thumb remains an unanswered question).

The scores were 25-13 and 24-11 but a quick glance at the scores (and lets not forget that scores rarely tell the full story) suggest that in particular the UK ladies sections did well, which hopefully suggests that our future ladies team will be a strong as our present one.
